So Walmart aka Wally world is having a sale on Nexcare bandaids. Buy the ones that are on sale for 0.99 so you actually make a penny towards the tax you will have to pay. I stocked up you know me the beginner Extreme Couponer I have quite the stock pile at home of Razors, Body Wash, Shaving Cream , Deodorant so there should be NO REASON while my legs shouldn't be shaved and my body smelling good, and if i get a cut which I often do a bandaid to stop the bleeding.

Anywho - stop over here and print some coupons for Nexcare Bandaids and head on over to Walmart and stock up, its summer time and if your like me or my kids you will get lots of boo boo's and ouchies.

Don't buy the cheap stuff

So I'm a beginner sewer, I'm in the testing/ learning phase. I mess up and get frustrated but when something comes out and actually looks like it could pass as something you could wear I jump for joy and I make my kids wear it. Poor kids , the things their mother puts them through. As you will see from the picture my daughter looks like she just loves this new shirt I made her. So I wanted to add a contrasting color to the bottom and this was supposed to be a dress but is now a shirt because I bought the cheap stuff.

I honestly didn't know there was a difference, I mean you can tell there is a difference like going to the Dollar Store and buying a crappy candle or going and buying a Yankee Candle but i bought fabric that was comparable in price to the fabric pictured above and it pulled and frayed: it was terrible.

 So my lesson today is don't buy the cheap stuff , you don't have to go overboard and buy the best, but go with stuff you know. I like to get fabric from the link below shipped right to my door. Easy Peasy!!!!!!!!!

For those of you that have never heard of Swagbucks its a great tool to use and you can actually earn points which in turn earn you money or gift cards. Last year I earned about $215.00 in gift cards to Amazon. You don't have to choose Amazon they have other choices too but that one to me is the most versatile, you can buy ANYTHING there.

Earth Day Giveaway at Lowes

What are you doing to celebrate Earth Day this year ? My family will be outside turning our compost pile getting ready to plant the garden full of fresh veggies. I love to be outside in the spring not to warm not to cool its the perfect weather. I just wish it would stay this temperature all year long.

This weekend was Earth Day in our local town but it was rained out ; imagine that Earth Day rained out. Would have been a great day to teach the community about rain collection / barrels .

Anyhow I just wanted to let everyone know that next weekend

So for this trip I got a few things that would not normally be on my list = Candy but they were free and its almost Easter so whats left *hint hint* can go in the kids easter baskets.

Grant Total = $15.74

This was my latest Target shopping trip all this for a total of $0.89 savings of $19.69

 Target also has coupons on there webpage here and you can use a manufacturer and Target coupon on the same item so your doubling your savings.
